Forbach is a typical small Black Forest Village situated in the nicest part of the wild romantic Murgtal. Our free-standing covered wooden bridge (passable by car) is one of the largest in Europe. Another sightseeing place in our village is our beautiful, imposing church in the new romantic style (new renovated).

Forbach is one of the biggest wood-villages in Baden-Württemberg. Many wood-paths (more than 400 kilometres) are inviting you to take wonderful walks in beautiful scenery. There are also a lot of little walks, especially made for children. Every way has got its own theme and was created by homelike artist.

Murg:
Enjoy the wild romantic surrounding by taking a long walk along this river. You also can take a bath in its refreshing water, which comes directly from the mountains….

Schwarzenbach-Talsperre:
This is a dam with a 2km long lake, picturesque situated amid the Black-Forest mountains. It is inviting you for walking, swimming, angling, hiring a row-boat or only relaxing at its shore.

Montana:
Open-air swimming pool with 1.000 sqm of heated water, a covered, heated area for relaxing, massage fountain, children playgrounds and a snack bar.

Murggarten:
This garden with its water-games is especially created for our youngest guests - you will see the children will love it!!
